Lenexa is my home town but I haven't live there in over sixty years. I also used to live in Overland Park but that too has been many years ago. Both cities have grown up since I lived there. I had friends who lived in Lenexa but several have died and the only one I know of that still lives there is a teacher at Johnson County Community College but I haven't seen him in years. Anyone thinking of moving to AL, first visit several times in several areas to see if AL living is for you, if your moving from a different part of the country especially the NE or West Coast living in the South will be a culture shock, jobs in your field may not be as numerous, will not pay as much or offer working remotely.
